Our Story Eastside Ski & Ride was founded by Lake Washington Snowsports Council. Since 1966 we have enjoyed introducing thousands of kids to skiing and snowboarding , in a safe and supportive environment. Eastside Ski & Ride is staffed entirely by adult volunteers who are committed to providing a rewarding experience to students wishing to learn a life-long sport.  Transportation is by restroom equipped motor-coach buses with adult chaperones on-board at all times when students are present. In addition to chaperone duties, our volunteers are available on the slopes to assist students. We also have radio communication with our ER Team and the Summit Ski Patrol. Because of the friendships created and our life-long love of a great outdoor sport, many of volunteers have been involved with the program for 20+ years and many former students have returned as adult volunteers. |
